How to contribute your work for consideration

 We receive a lot of contributions so, please, make it as easy as possible for the editor.

• The maximum number of pieces that we will consider is six per author.
  
• Send your work as an email attachment. Ordinary post is given the lowest priority. It is more costly, slower and requires more work from you and the editor. If accepted it has to be transcribed. So, unless you have a very good reason, do not send your work by snail mail.
• The fundamental word processor for New Contrast is Microsoft Word 2003. Send your work as an MS Word DOC. If you do not use MS Word send an RTF , TXT , or ODF ODT document.
• Each piece (poem, short story, essay etc.) must be in a separate document. If you are sending several poems, for instance, zip them together then attach the zipped file.
• Each document must have your name in the header or footer. If the document exceeds a page, the pages must be numbered in the header or footer.
• Complete the document property fields: Title and Author.
• Send a covering email with your brief biography (3 to 6 lines) and postal address.
